CHARITABLE TRUST

Established in 2008, the LECT supports young musicians from primary school to tertiary level. Its main aims are to provide talented young musicians with quality performance opportunities in order for them to gain experience and further their careers.

Lewis Eady Charitable Trust provides educational, performance and support opportunities through the following activities:

• The Auckland Junior Music Contest

• The LECT Emerging Artist Series

• The Steinway House Concert Series

• The New Zealand International Piano Festival which in 2012 provided 400 free tickets to school aged children throughout Auckland.
